Armenian State University of Economics Gyumri branch
According to the 131st decision of the Government of the Republic of Armenia (On May 30, 2011), the branch of the Armenian State University of Economics was launched in Gyumri.
The branch had only two specialties in the 1997-1998 academic year: “Finance and Credit” and “Accounting and Auditing”.
Since 2005, two chairs have been formed in the branch “General Economics” and “Natural Sciences”.
Since 2010, there have been five specializations in the Bachelor’s degree program in the branch.

Since 2012 ASUE GB admits students of distance learning in bachelor’s and master’s degrees in “Finance” specialty.
There are 58 lecturers in the branch, of which 5 are doctor-professors, 12 associate professors, 8 are candidates of sciences, holding PhD degree.
Since 2009, the branch has been organizing the educational process in new equipped large auditoriums, a hall, a computer room, a library, a reading room, a gas-fired building built at the expense of the state budget of the Republic of Armenia, with a total area of 2486.96 sq. m.

Bachelor’s degree in distance learning with the specialty “Finance”.
In the 2018-2019 academic year, there are 3 specializations in Master’s degree program.

Master’s degree in distance learning is organized by the specialty “Public Finance”.
The educational process is organized in accordance with the standards of the Main University (ASUE), with a two-tier educational system’s credit assessment method.
Since 2016, different contracts have been signed with a number of European universities for the purpose of continuing the academic program for the students of ASUE Gyumri branch within the framework of the Erasmus + program and sharing the experience of the lecturers.
Over the past three years, the faculty members have published a number of manuals, scientific articles. Our lecturers took part in more than twenty international conferences in different scientific and educational centers of the world.
