Chair of general economics

The Chair of General Economics of ASUE GB has been functioning since 1997, starting from the day of foundation of the University.  For more than 20 years the driving force of the University has been the the chair of “General Economics” with its professors, researchers and laboratory assistants.  Over the years, the Chair of “General Economics” has been replenished with such professionals who hold the honor of our University both in Armenia and in international platforms.

Many scientific articles have been published in local and international journals from the lecturers of the chair.  The lecturers of the chair regularly participate in various international programs as well as actively participate in international (Spain, France, England, etc.) and local conferences.

It is noteworthy that approximately 50% of the professorial staff of the Chair of General Economics is the former students of ASUE Graduate School.  The staff of the chair includes 3 doctors of sciences – professors, 7 candidates of sciences – associate professors, 8 candidates of sciences.

Having a great professional potential, for many years a number of subject programs have been developed by the chair’s lecturers.  Considering and considering the necessity of scientific and educational progress, the Chair of “General Economics” of our University is in close cooperation with all chairs of the University.  Thanks to the fruitful work of the teaching staff of the department, ASUE has a high reputation and great readiness to contribute to the further development of the university and its academic development.
